Hey Aaron, I think you are right. According to my blog, I've been doing ROP ladders since October 13, 2008 with slow and steady progress, which is not a bad thing in my book. Actually, today I was amazed that I was able to subtract one full minute of rest for my medium day. Sweat was pouring again after my 3rd rung! :) Because of my work schedule, my plan this week is to skip variety days and move up this Saturday a notch with my progression, i.e. using the 32kg on the 4th rung and 24kg bottoms up on the 1st and 3rd rungs, and then taking a back-off week. Currently, my weakness seems to be snatches as my strength has been focused on pressing and pull ups. What do you think about V02 Max snatches? What type of a 4-week program do you think I should focus on? Thanks. I appreciate your input.
Actually, I wouldn't change anything if you're still making noticeable progress and having fun. I think your planned moves might shake things up enough.
4 weeks of nothing but deadlifts and VO2 ought to be interesting, though.
I really like your two recommendations. The two extremes of strength and conditioning with some stabilization (TGUs) might fit in nicely after I have meditated on it during my back-off week. Thanks dude!

John, how long have you been working the ROP?
Seems like you might be due for something different, and not for a day or a week ~ more like 4 weeks.
I've gone for months focusing on the snatch, and pressing was still there when I got back.
