Eischens Yoga for Warriors (Advanced): 24 minutes. (RPE 16: Even though I barely break a sweat when finished, there's more than enough room for improvement in all positions for time and technique.)
John, I'm just curious how your mobility is with the Brettzel. I've just started doing them and I feel so stiff. It does feel great on that area in my back with the knot. I do lots of thoracic glides, but the Brettzel really got into that area.
I'll be anxious to see how your training skyrockets after your back off week. Enjoy the Pain!!
I've been driving a tractor most of my life while in a tweaked position. Poor design. Needs rear video monitor! So, the Brettzel and RKC Arm Bars are very helpful. My Brettzel mobility has improved over the months that I have been doing them. I only do one rep on each side, while taking three deep belly-breathes. I learned a little bit more after watching Brett demonstrate the human pretzel stretch on his video in the "Kettlebell Secrets" series. I learned to use my eyes when turning my head in between breathes. Kinda Z-like, huh? I can understand your stiffness. One thing that I do after the Brettzel is to rock back and forth a few times, knees tucked and held with my hands. Either that or roll a little on the "foam roller" Oops! Hope that wasn't a bad word!

It's nice to see how your training has skyrocketed after no back-off weeks. Hey, it's raspberry season here too! :)
